Farewell to Two of the Greatest Men

The past couple of weeks have been hard on both mine and Jeff's families.

On August 26, we lost my grandpa to a long battle with cancer.This was a hard loss for our family. A week prior he was doing pretty good and than things just took a turn for the worse. Luckily my dad and aunt and uncles were able to be there with him when he said his good-byes. We finally got to say our final good-byes to him this last week. The funeral was a celebration of who he was and we all shared our stories of our Tata. He will surely be missed by everyone.

On September 8, we lost Jeff's grandpa to a battle with cancer as well. This was a hard loss for our family too. His family was able to be there with him including Jeff to see him pass. He was a great man and will be missed as well.

I know that my grandpa and Jeff's grandpa are probably up in heaven enjoying a beer and talking about old war stories. They are both looking down on us and taking care of us. I am just happy that they both got to meet and spend time with CC. She will not remember them but I know they are watching over her.

We love them both and will truly miss them!
